Discovering Single Mom Grants

If you are looking for ideas to help you raise money to advance your educational pursuits then we encourage you to take a few moments to review our recommendations both here in this article and elsewhere throughout our website.  As you may have already learned, identifying and qualifying for a grant or scholarship can be a long, arduous process.  We hope to simplify your search by directing to what we believe are some of the most attractive offerings available.  First and foremost, take advantage of what we believe is a win – win for you.

Single Moms – Finding Some Free Scholarship Money

There are FREE $10,000 Scholarships drawings held periodically online.  If you keep a close eye out, you will find some available here at our website.  We will gladly share them with you as they become known.  One of the things that makes them popular is that they are like drawings.  It is pretty painless to apply and many of them do not require an essay.

Single Mom Grants and Scholarships

As you peruse our website you will discover there are an assortment of grants and scholarships for single moms. As you probably already understand, being awarded a grant or scholarship is based on a number of factors.  But one which you can actively control is the number of applications you submit for various offerings.  In this respect, being successful is partly a numbers game.  The first step is identifying what is out there for single moms or any individuals that  have a qualifying need.  At Grants For Single Mothers Online, we try to help you with this important upfront process.  It can be a confusing maze to travel through.  What you can simply do is review our articles for ideas and follow the suggestions and links to get you down the road.

One of my favorites is the Jeanette Rankin Foundation Scholarship Program.  It is basically designed with the women in mind.  Its is a non profit organization and awards scholarships and grants to lower income women.  You can check them out at www.rankinfoundation.org

Another one you should check out is the Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation.  The foundation is set up to support lower income moms and offers educational enrichment activities for your kids.  They are found at www.patsyminkfoundation.org/

If you are looking for more ideas for single mom grants, be sure to review our library of articles on the subject.  My suggestion is to apply for not less than ten grants or scholarships.  They need not be entirely targeted for single moms or women.  While that certainly helps during the qualification process for some of the offerings, what is more meaningful is to get aggressive with getting your applications in for consideration.
